At the Matthew 25 Mission, our goal is to improve the lives of the underprivileged in Florida by providing crucial food, shelter, and clothing assistance. We strive to eliminate hunger and homelessness while also addressing the challenges faced by at-risk pregnancies. Our aim is to break the cycle of poverty and give all people a chance at a better future.
Our vision at Matthew 25 Mission is to eliminate hunger, homelessness, and poverty. We believe in ensuring that every human being, including those facing at risk pregnancies, has access to life's basic human needs such as food, shelter, and clothing assistance.
Matthew 25 Mission is a faith-based not-for-profit charity dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor in Florida by caring for those who have no one to care for them, including individuals facing at risk pregnancies and those in need of food, shelter, and clothing assistance to help eliminate hunger and homelessness.
Background on our Founder, Chaplain Tom McQueen, who has dedicated his life to addressing critical issues such as at-risk pregnancies and working to eliminate hunger and homelessness. Through his leadership at the Matthew 25 Mission, he has been instrumental in providing essential food, shelter, and clothing assistance to those in need.
As the Director of Development for The Matthew 25 Mission, Rosemary Thatcher strives to live a life of love and service, sharing her passion for giving to this ministry that seeks to eliminate hunger and homelessness for the less fortunate in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. God is looking for people that are ALL IN.
Growing up in a Christian household in Singapore and later Australia, Rosemary developed a strong foundation of faith from an early age. However, it was through her personal journey and experiences that a deeper, more intimate relationship with God was formed. Rosemary developed a strong sense of serving while volunteering, establishing programs for children after school, packing meals to be distributed to the homeless, serving meals, and volunteering at church. Passionate about helping others, her vision is clear: "What You Do For The Least, You Do For Me…" This reflects her commitment to eliminate hunger, homelessness, and poverty, believing that every human being has the right to access life’s basic human needs, including food, shelter, and clothing assistance.
Rosemary’s corporate career began in Public Relations at BP Australia and continued in Minneapolis, MN at the Toro Company. She enrolled at the University of Minnesota to pursue a Studio Arts degree and resumed her career co-managing Cold Water Creek, a highly successful women’s clothing store, after taking time off to start a family. Rosemary continued managing at Chico’s in St. Paul, MN and then St. Petersburg, FL. She also started her own photography company and is active in wedding and portrait photography.
As the proud mother of two grown children, Rosemary enjoys gardening, reading, photography, and spending time with her two-year-old grandson.
